Last Sunday morning, in an attempt to get the videos in the can before the BBC weather was proved right and the April showers came down, the team were up bright and early to meet Janene and I on the Malvern Hills to film some of the finale tutorial video. Janene and I chose the hills for the shoot because the border between both our counties – Herefordshire and Worcestershire (where we have both been busily delivering Lawk Naach discovery workshops since last November) – falls along the hills. They are a stunning location and at half-past nine (yes, on a Sunday morning!) we met up at British Camp car-park on the county border. After a fairly steep ascent (a pretty good warm-up!) we reached the top of the hills with the gorgeous views over the two counties. We had a brilliant time filming, although we were rather windswept by the end of it, braving bright smiles despite the cold wind! Luckily, despite the bitter wind, the sun was shining and we were able to film everything before the rain came down. It was brilliant to dance Bhangra in such a gorgeous location…we’ll have to do it again sometime!
